Raytha v1.3.0: menus, function triggers and multiple themes
Navigation menus managed in the UI, functions that run when content is created, updated or deleted, several themes per site with import and export, and automatic migrations on startup.
Released September 3, 2024.
What's new
- Menus feature -- You no longer have to hardcode menu items into your templates. You can create a menu via the UI and in your templates, read from the menu and generate your HTML via the template engine. #182
- Expanded triggers w/ Raytha Functions - The
Raytha Functionsfeature has been expanded to support triggers when a content item has been created, updated or deleted! This can let you create a webhook style approach to content updates. #82 - Multiple themes supported - Create as many themes as you would like inside Raytha and then switch from one theme to another if need be. Also, export/import a theme from another instance of Raytha.
- Apply pending migrations on startup - Set in appsettings.json, Raytha will check to see if you deployed a new version and if the database is up to date. If not, it will attempt to migrate the db to match your current version. You can always continue to use the sql files in /db folder if you prefer manual migrations #192
- Background task crash fix #193
Upgrade
This version predates the Docker Hub image. Build it from the v1.3.0 source on GitHub, or run a current release with docker pull raythahq/raytha:latest.
This release changes the database schema. Back up your database before upgrading, then apply the migration described above.
New to Raytha? The fastest way to run it is the Railway template; see the quickstart and upgrade notes.
